CAN YOU RELATE?

Endless YouTube videos:

You’ve spent hours watching tutorials, only to end up more confused and no closer to consistent results.

Failed prints piling up:

You keep running into spaghetti, shifting layers, or rough surfaces, and every failure chips away at your confidence.

No clear path forward:

You’ve tried advice from forums and groups, but it’s scattered, conflicting, and never seems to solve the real problem.

Feeling isolated:

Without a supportive community, you’re left to figure things out on your own. When problems come up, it feels like you’re stuck with no one to turn to.

Chris MeaD.jpg

Hey, I'm Chris!

I’m Chris, and I’ve been working with 3D printers for over a decade.

When I started, there were no roadmaps or step-by-step guides. I had to figure things out through trial and error, breaking parts, and learning lessons the hard way.

As I began teaching on YouTube, I saw how many beginners were running into the same roadblocks I once faced. That’s when it hit me…people don’t just need random tips, they need quality training and support to make real progress quickly.

That’s why I created the 3D Print Guild. It’s a place where you get structured courses that teach you the concepts and “why” behind 3D printing, but also how to design your own models and paint your creations so they truly stand out.

In the Guild, we value progress over perfection

The 3D Print Matrix

COMING SOON...

The 3D Printing Matrix is a level system that will teach you everything you need to know about 3D printing. The learning in each level is organized so that each level builds on the one before. Every area of 3D printing is covered: Slicer, Filament, Multi-Color Printing, Print Management, Maintenance & Hardware, and Troubleshooting.

Each course is taught across four levels of mastery:

  • The Apprentice 101 – Learn the basics of 3D printing and build your foundation with beginner-friendly lessons. Let's get your first wins!

  • The Maker 102 – Expand your knowledge and build your confidence with deeper techniques and stronger skills.

  • The Builder 103 (In-Progress!) – Push into advanced strategies and refine your workflow.

  • The Guild Master 104 (Coming Soon!) – Reach full mastery and go in-depth into the most advanced topics. You will leave the matrix with complete confidence to take on any 3D printing project.

EVER-EVOLVING. ALWAYS DYNAMIC.

Background.jpg

The beauty of the Matrix is that you’re never overwhelmed. You’ll grow step by step, revisiting the same topics at each level while layering on more advanced knowledge. This way, you always know where you are in your journey, and where you’re headed next.

Yes,  I'm ready to level up my skills!

The 3D Print Guild isn’t a static library you scroll through once and forget. It’s alive. It’s growing. And you’re a part of shaping it.

As a member, you’ll help decide where the Guild goes next—new courses, training topics, and live calls are often guided by your feedback and requests.

The Guild is never stagnant. Software updates? We update the trainings. New tools and techniques? They get added. Fresh content is released every month, so you’re always learning what’s current.

We don’t believe in waiting until a course is “perfect” to release it, you’ll often get early access to lessons while I’m still building the rest. That means you can start learning right away, instead of sitting on the sidelines waiting.

What Guild Members are saying:

I am so amazed at the amount of help and advice I have been given on this Group not mention all the training Video's that must have taken Chris an absolute age to do - its an absolute bargain for the annual fee - I would also add a BIG thank you to Denny for his endless patience in helping me out with various problems

Geoff

Chris does a great job with his training modules. Each lesson is short and easy to finish. It also is easy to go back and listen to a needed lesson again. The live Q&A calls are fantastic. You are able to ask a question and get it answered during the call. It has been really helpful. I have recommended this to others and have a couple of friends on the waitlist to join during the next open session.

Linda

The 3D print Guild is a really great resource. Chris Mead is extremely good at explaining so many different things. I have learned such a lot about so many aspects about 3D printing. The community within the Guild is also excellent as a resource if one is having problems either with your printer or with a particular project. I highly recommend the Guild to everybody who is interested in 3d printing including modelling and painting.

Tony

Being part of the Guild has been a real blessing. I only wish it had been around years ago when I was first learning 3D printing. Over time my collection of printers has grown, and I’ve found the Guild to be a tremendous resource. I was able to successfully complete projects that had been giving me trouble, and I’ve learned how to apply those lessons across different machines and software. I’m very thankful for the support and look forward to staying involved.

C.K.

I think you’ll find that the greatest value in your membership is in the healthy community that is here. There’s no trolling, no arguing, and really just no nonsense in general. There’s just people who enjoy looking at new work, solving new problems, and enjoy the hobby. If you joined almost any 3-D printing community online you’ll understand how rare this actually is.

Bill

I’ve been 3d printing for a year and a half, purchasing subscriptions for models and always wanting to learn to model. I went through some if the beginner training and started the Nomad Sculpt course which has been fantastic! Highly recommend.

Rob

Through Guild training videos, I’ve expanded my knowledge on topics such as: the slicers; filament settings; and how to troubleshoot / resolve printing issues. I started with no knowledge of 3D print design – through Guild courses on Nomad Sculpt and TinkerCAD, I can now generate my own models. The Guild is also a great place to post questions and receive feedback – in addition to Chris, there are some very experienced Guild members. I can’t say enough good things about the Guild. I’ve found it to be one of the best available resources for learning the various aspects of 3D printing. Now that I'm retired, it is my main hobby, thanks in large part to the Guild.

Darlah

I became interested in 3D printing a little over a year ago after being fascinated with some 3D prints that an acquaintance of mine had created – it made me start thinking about 3D printing as a hobby after retirement (December 2025). Shortly thereafter, I purchased a 3D printer and did some dabbling for a while, trying to learn as much as I could along the way. During that time, I enjoyed Chris’ YouTube videos and signed up for his weekly emails. After almost a year of 3D printing, I was at the point where I wanted to learn more on topics such as: how to troubleshoot print issues and how to design my own 3D models. You may know that Chris has many years of experience with 3D printing, modeling and painting – it shows in his in-depth videos and his great enthusiasm. When I learned about the 3D Print Guild and its offerings, I decided to join - I’m very happy that I did. I have learned so much over the past few months – much more than I could

Bob

I can't speak highly enough about the guild. Its a great learning experience and a great place to share questions, thoughts, and prints. I've seen many models that I loved and printed myself, and have started down the path of airbrushing with the help from the guild. The guild and its community of menbers have made me a better 3D Printer!

Riley

When I started my 3D printing journey, I had clear goals: shorten the learning curve through well-designed courses, gain access to valuable resources and knowledge, get help with troubleshooting, and find reliable support. Above all, I wanted to be part of a community where knowledge sharing, collaboration, and inspiration are the norm. The 3D Print Guild has delivered on all of that. I can confidently say that joining has made a real difference in my growth as a maker. If you're looking for the same kind of experience, I'd encourage you to check out the Guild and see if it's the right fit for you.

The Guild is PERFECT for you if...

You want a clear, structured path for learning 3D printing without getting lost in endless tutorials.

You enjoy experimenting, problem-solving, and celebrating both wins and mistakes as part of the process.

You’re excited to connect with others who share your passion and believe community makes you stronger.

You value encouragement and accountability and want to both give and receive support along the way.

You’re ready to push past the basics and discover new techniques, tools, and workflows that actually get results.

You see 3D printing as more than just a hobby; it’s a creative outlet you want to grow with for the long haul.

The Guild is NOT for you if...

You plan to sign up but never log in, participate, or engage with the community.

You only want to take without giving back or have no interest in helping others grow.

You are unwilling to share your struggles or mistakes and expect perfection from day one.

You are looking for a magic button that fixes everything instead of putting in the work to learn and improve.

You are closed off to feedback or unwilling to try new approaches.

You do not see the value in being part of a supportive, collaborative community.
