The 3D Print Guild is a paid online learning membership and private community for people who want to better understand 3D printing and everything that goes along with it.
Inside the Guild, we learn everything from slicers, filament, troubleshooting, and printer maintenance to modeling, painting, sculpting, and more.
Some members are still learning the foundations.

SO, WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENS INSIDE THE GUILD?
Quite a bit.
I've built the Guild to be a place where you can learn 3D printing as a craft instead of bouncing from one random tutorial to another.
There are structured courses when you want a path to follow, live calls when you want to learn and ask questions, resources when you need a quick answer, and a community of other makers when you want to talk through a problem or share what you're working on.

MORE THAN MY FREE CONTENT
I share a lot of 3D printing education for free through MeaD MaDe, YouTube, and the free community (The Hub).
The 3D Print Guild is different.
It is a paid membership learning community with training, resources, and experiences created specifically for Guild members.
A large amount of what I teach inside the Guild is not covered on my YouTube channel.
The Guild gives me room to go deeper, build structured courses, connect topics across different skill levels, teach more advanced workflows, and create lessons around the real questions and problems members are running into.
YouTube is a great place to learn individual topics.
The Guild is where those topics connect, build on one another, and become part of a larger learning path.
A PLACE TO KEEP LEARNING
There isn't one single way to use the Guild. Some members are working through 3D printing from the beginning. Some have been printing for years and want to dig deeper:

THE 3D PRINTING MATRIX
At the center of the Guild's 3D printing education is the 3D Printing Matrix.
Instead of treating 3D printing as one enormous subject, the Matrix breaks it into six core areas:

Those subjects are revisited across four progressive levels:
APPRENTICE 101 → MAKER 102 → BUILDER 103 → GUILD MASTER 104
You begin with the foundations.
Then you return to those same subjects with more experience and go deeper.
As you progress, the focus shifts from: “What does this do?”
to: “Why would I use it?”and eventually: “What is happening, why is it happening, and what is the best decision for this situation?”
The Matrix simply gives you a structured path when you want one.
There's More Than Printing
The Guild isn't only about getting a model through the printer.
Members can also learn how to create, modify, paint, and finish their own work.
Training includes areas such as:

Project-based modeling where you learn tools while actually creating things.
An approachable starting point for designing and modifying 3D printable objects.
Hands-on digital sculpting for creating your own models.
Training covering airbrushing, paint preparation, dry brushing, stippling, highlights, texture, contrast, and other finishing techniques.

Hey There, I'm Chris!
I've been working with 3D printers for more than a decade.
When I started, there weren't many roadmaps showing you how all of this stuff fit together.
A lot of what I learned came through trial and error.
Failed prints.
Broken parts.
Experiments.
And plenty of time staring at a printer trying to figure out why it had suddenly decided to do something ridiculous.
Eventually, I began teaching 3D printing through MeaD MaDe and YouTube.
The more I taught, the more I realized people didn't necessarily need another random tutorial.
They needed somewhere all of those individual lessons could connect.
That's eventually what became the 3D Print Guild.
My teaching focuses heavily on explaining why something works, not simply telling you which button to push.
Because once you understand why, you can start making those decisions for yourself.
LEARNING DOESN'T
ONLY HAPPEN IN COURSES
Most Guild training is pre-recorded, so you can learn on your own schedule.But courses are only one part of the experience.
MONTLY LIVE GUILD CALLS
Members have opportunities to ask questions and learn live through Q&A, troubleshooting, demonstrations, topic deep dives, member hot seats, project discussions, and other Guild calls.Available replays are added to the Guild for members who can't attend live.
RESOURCES WHEN YOU NEED THEM
The Guild Resource Vault contains guides, checklists, reference sheets, troubleshooting tools, glossaries, and other materials designed for quick reference.
The Guild Compass helps members research things such as 3D printing terminology, slicer settings, printer error codes, and common print problems.
THE PRIVATE GUILD COMMUNITY
This is where members ask questions, troubleshoot prints, share projects, discuss printers and slicers, talk about modeling and painting, share discoveries, and learn from one another.

The word Guild has always meant something more to me than simply having a name for an online membership.
A guild is a place where people learn a craft.
Practice it.
Develop their skills.
Share what they've learned.
And learn from people with different levels of experience.
That's increasingly what is happening inside the 3D Print Guild.
Members who once came looking for answers begin helping someone else.
People share discoveries.
They compare approaches.
They celebrate each other's progress.
Questions from members become new lessons and resources.
The courses give the Guild structure.
The people inside it are what make it a Guild.
That's something I want to continue building as the community grows.

Chris does a great job with his training modules. Each lesson is short and easy to finish. It also is easy to go back and listen to a needed lesson again. The live Q&A calls are fantastic.
